Our team is diverse and dynamic and includes accountants, lawyers, data scientist, technology specialists, compliance specialist and law enforcement professionals. We provide expertise in financial crime, anti-money laundering, bribery and corruption, dispute resolution, investigations, expert witness, fraud detection and prevention, forensic technology, eDiscovery and data analytics.

The Opportunity: Your Role and Impact

As a Manager in our Forensic Technology practice, you will be at the forefront of leveraging data to uncover the truth. You will lead high-stakes engagements investigating fraud, bribery, corruption, and other forms of misconduct.

This is more than a project delivery role; you will be a leader who drives innovation, manages key client relationships, and mentors the next generation of forensic talent.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead Engagements: Apply strong project management principles to manage the end-to-end delivery of multiple, concurrent forensic data analytics and eDiscovery investigations, ensuring quality, budget, and timeline adherence.
  • Drive Technical Innovation: Design and deploy advanced analytical models, including Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, and Natural Language Processing, to enhance fraud detection and identify risks within large-scale structured and unstructured datasets.
  • Analyse Complex Data: Guide teams in extracting and analysing data from diverse sources, including ERP systems (structured data) and communications platforms (unstructured data), often within eDiscovery workflows using tools like Relativity.
  • Deliver Strategic Insights: Translate complex technical findings into clear, compelling reports and presentations for clients, legal counsel, and regulators.
  • Develop the Practice: Actively contribute to practice development by enhancing methodologies, creating new service offerings, and demonstrating strong commercial acumen to drive growth.
  • Mentor and Develop Talent: Utilise your team leadership skills to coach and mentor junior staff, fostering a culture of continuous learning, accountability, and innovation.

About You: Qualifications and Experience

We are seeking a highly motivated professional with a passion for problem-solving and a strong technical foundation.

Core Experience:

  • A minimum of seven years of relevant experience in forensic data analytics or risk analytics.
  • Proven track record of leading complex projects, preferably in a Big Four, consulting, or large corporate forensic environment.

Technical Skills:

  • Expert-level proficiency in SQL (e.g., T-SQL, PL/SQL) for complex data extraction and manipulation. Experience with Hive
  • Advanced programming skills in Python for data analysis, statistical modelling, and process automation.
  • Hands-on experience with data visualisation tools such as Tableau, Qlik, LookerStudio or Power BI to create impactful dashboards and reports.
  • Experience with Big Data technologies such as Apache Hive, Spark, or Presto for querying and processing large-scale distributed datasets.
  • Practical experience applying Generative AI, Machine Learning or Natural Language Processing techniques in an investigative context is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with eDiscovery platforms (e.g., Relativity) and cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP) is a significant advantage.
  • Exposure to financial crime (AML, Sanctions), fraud investigations, or regulatory compliance is highly desirable.

Leadership and Professional Skills:

  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities with a practical, hands-on approach.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage senior client relationships and navigate high-pressure situations.
  • A strong drive for continuous learning and professional development.
