What Does a Forensic Technology Intern Do?
Our Technology division leads the charge in the ever-changing world of data management and investigation. As the digital environment transitions from conventional data centers to cloud solutions, and from traditional collaboration to AI-assisted content creation, we are witnessing a surge in new data sources—such as collaboration tools, chat applications, mobile platforms, and blockchain technology. This swift transformation reshapes our approach to disputes, investigations, and compliance, underscoring the importance of our work in today's data-centric landscape.
You will be instrumental in providing advanced forensic services to our clients.
You will undergo extensive training in vital areas including data collection and extraction, forensic analysis, and expert reporting, covering both traditional and modern cloud technologies.
You will support our clients by employing forensic techniques to address structured and unstructured data-driven business challenges, both in proactive and reactive crisis scenarios.
Your work will expose you to both technical solutions and key technical skills, including but not limited to SQL, PostgreSQL, Python, Pyspark, Java, C#, C++, Tableau, Qlik, Power BI, SSIS, Artificial Intelligence with a particular focus on Large Language Models (LLM) and technical domains such as Digital forensics, Electronic Discovery and Information Security.
What we are looking for?
Academic: On track for or have achieved a 2.1 honours degree in a technology focused degree
Eligibility: Legal right to work in Ireland
Skills: Strong analytical, communication & problem-solving abilities
Proficient in Microsoft 365 (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Mindset: Passion for innovation, leadership & value creation
