Location: Hybrid - 3 days in office (T- Th)

Reports To: eDiscovery Manager

Employment Type: Temp to Hire

Role Overview

Reports to the eDiscovery Manager and supports the Corporate Law Department in managing electronic discovery processes and needs throughout the Company, including all subsidiaries, for matters that the Corporate Law Department is involved with or as otherwise determined.

Key Responsibilities

This position will support the eDiscovery Manager within the Corporate Legal Department by assisting with a variety of tasks including, but not limited to:

  • Litigation support and eDiscovery tasks, including collecting, processing, and organizing data, generating reports, database loading, indexing, data archiving and transfer.
  • Quality checking data; identifying and troubleshooting issues.
  • Reviewing documents, including tagging, redaction, and exporting data as required for litigation and/or other legal matters.
  • Searching and exporting data within O365 eDiscovery.
  • Application and handling of Legal Hold in Place feature.
  • Deleting data as required for data retention protocols.
  • Assisting with special projects and administrative tasks as requested.
  • Handling chain of custody process, including maintaining logs relating to Company devices, and preserving equipment for legal hold process.
  • Tracking and handling projects until completion.
  • Occasionally participating in analysis of forensic data and reports relating to electronic devices, software, databases, servers, and hardware.
  • Professionally, effectively, and timely communicating both written and verbal internally and externally, including with employees, vendors, and law firms, regarding eDiscovery matters.
  • Always maintaining the highest degree of discretion and confidentiality.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors Degree Required in a related field
  • Preferred CEDS Certification

Skills & Experience

  • 2 years of relevant and progressive professional experience in the field of eDiscovery, including working with an eDiscovery tool, or another similar database at a law firm, company, or legal services vendor
