Analyst, eDiscovery

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities:

Working under the direction of the Digital Legal Delivery Senior Manager and with the eDiscovery Senior Analyst to identify and understand client needs, assisting with the execution of the recommended technical solutions and supporting with the delivery of an effective solution throughout the life of a matter. On a daily basis this will include being responsible for:

•           Processing data (Relativity processing experience is required)

•           Ingesting/uploading data into Relativity

•           Running searches across Relativity workspaces

•           Creating review batches and coding layouts in Relativity

•           Preparing productions and exports from Relativity

•           Administering Relativity and supporting end-users

Maintaining project files including preparing file notes, memoranda, minutes of meetings, instructions, tracking materials, and communications with the legal teams and clients as appropriate.

Qualifications, skills and experience   

Essential:

•           Must have 1-2+ years Relativity or RelativityOne experience servicing internal or external clients, or B.Sc. or B.Tech. degree(s) or equivalent technical, computer science/information technology-based training.

•           Experience supporting document reviews and case work.

•           Strong teamwork Skills and experience working within a team environment.

•           Strong documentation and communication skills, including effective collaboration with case teams, Legal team, and service providers.

•           Excellent attention to detail and ability to QC the work of colleagues

•           A curious mind and solutions-oriented approach to providing client service.

•           Flexibility for overtime when needed.

Desirable:

•           Undergraduate degree or equivalent technical, computer science/information technology-based training.

•           Experience related to eDiscovery and other Litigation Support processes. 1-2+ years eDiscovery data processing, loading, searching, and data analytics practice (law firm or service provider).

•           Industry knowledge or, experience of working in a professional services environment within a technology role would be a distinct advantage, although not essential.

•           Strong problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to dealing with multiple projects to very strict deadlines. Able to manage and resolve problems effectively, dealing confidently and concisely with internal stakeholders.

•           Understanding of the approach required to working in a global team including navigating different communication styles, working styles, and time zone challenges.

•           Ability to think strategically and ensure that continuous process improvement is formally documented, implemented and disseminated.

•           Relativity Certified Administration, Relativity Analytics Specialist, Relativity Data Management Specialist, Relativity Review Management Specialist, or Relativity Processing Specialist Certifications, or Nuix Data Discovery Specialist Certification.

Salary:

The salary range for this role is $90-115k. Final compensation for this role will be determined by various factors such as education, experience, knowledge and skills.
