Sr. Director, Federal & SLED Sales

Reports To: Chief Revenue Officer

The Sr. Director, Federal & SLED Sales is a senior leadership role responsible for driving revenue growth across the Federal, State, Local, Education (SLED), and Canadian public sector markets. Reporting to the CRO, this leader sets strategy, builds and scales high-performing sales teams, and partners cross-functionally to deliver predictable growth in complex, regulated environments. This role is critical to expanding Casepoint’s footprint across North America’s public sector.

What You’ll Do (Key Responsibilities): 

Sales Strategy & Execution

  • Own and execute the go-to-market strategy for Federal, SLED, and Canadian public sector markets to achieve bookings and revenue targets
  • Develop multi-year pipeline strategies and territory plans that align with company growthobjectives
  • Partner with Marketing, Product, Customer Success, and Executive Leadership to deliver differentiated, customer-centric solutions

Team Leadership & Development

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of sales leaders and individual contributors
  • Recruit, onboard, and develop top-tier public sector sales talent while fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement
  • Establish clear performance expectations and ensure teams consistently meet or exceed quota targets

Pipeline, Forecasting & Operations

  • Own forecasting accuracy, pipeline health, and CRM discipline across all managed regions
  • Implement and standardize scalable sales processes, metrics, and reporting to support predictable growth
  • Support annual planning, budgeting, and long-range revenue forecasting

Capture, Proposals & Procurement

  • Lead and support capture strategies for large, complex Federal and SLED opportunities, ensuring strong positioning and win strategies
  • Guide teams through RFIs, RFPs, and contract negotiations across Federal, State, Local, Education, and Canadian procurement environments
  • Ensure compliant, compelling proposal responses in partnership with internal stakeholders

Customer & Partner Engagement

  • Build andmaintainexecutive-level relationships with key government stakeholders, partners, and influencers
  • Stay current on public sector policies, budgets, and technology trends to position solutions effectively

What You Bring to the Team

  • 10+ years of experience selling enterprise or SaaS solutions into Federal and SLED markets, with at least 5 years in sales leadership roles
  • Demonstrated success leading teams that close complex,high-value($1M+ ACV) public sector deals
  • Deep understanding of Federal, SLED, and related procurement processes, including RFIs, RFPs, and contracting vehicles
  • Proven ability to develop leaders, scale teams, and drive performance through data-driven decision making
  • Exceptional written, verbal, and presentation communication skills
  • Experience working cross-functionally in fast-paced, growth-oriented SaaS organizations

Work Location 

Our headquarters are in Washington, D.C., and we are considering candidates located in the greater DC metro area.
