We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Senior SharePoint Administrator to join BRP’s Microsoft 365 team. This role is responsible for the strategy, design, governance, and business enablement of our SharePoint Online platform. You will partner with business units to translate needs into scalable site and data architecture, participate in the definition of the product roadmap, and participate in transformation initiatives. This role sets standards, designs solutions, and leads change in collaboration with key stakeholders.
YOU’LL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO:
Participate in the definition of information architecture for SharePoint Online (hub & site topology, metadata/taxonomy, content types, search, navigation, templates).
Assess and orient business needs into the right SharePoint/Teams structures; act as the primary SharePoint advisor within the team.
Define and maintain governance for site provisioning, lifecycle/archival, external sharing, and guest access, ensuring alignment with Cybersecurity and Legal.
Contribute to the M365 collaboration roadmap, evaluating new SharePoint features, run POCs and pilot, recommend business rollouts.
Partner with the M365 team members to design user journeys and collaborate with a champions network across business units.
Implement and enforce compliance using Microsoft Purview (retention & record labels, sensitivity labels, DLP/eDiscovery) in partnership with Security/Legal.
Provide design standards and advisory to operations for performance, reliability, and support model improvements.
Lead SharePoint related projects discovery and design, aligning with the delivery teams, documenting requirements.
Measure value and adoption using analytics and KPIs.
YOU’LL THRIVE IN THIS ROLE IF YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS AND QUALITIES:
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
Extensive experience with SharePoint Online architecture and modern site design, strong knowledge of hub architecture, Copilot, governance, and best practices.
Proficiency in PowerShell and Power Platform fundamentals (Power Automate/Power Apps) for collaboration solutions and provisioning.
Experience with site scripts/site designs and Microsoft Graph concepts.
Understanding of Microsoft Purview (retention/records, sensitivity labels, DLP, eDiscovery) and secure collaboration (B2B guest access).
Familiarity with Teams/OneDrive integrations and Viva features.
Excellent problem-solving, facilitation, and business lines engagement skills, able to translate business processes into scalable SharePoint solutions.
Experience with solutions such as Viva products, records management, and large-scale migrations. (Nice to have)
Background working with ServiceNow and Jira. (Nice to have)
Analytics and reporting experience, adoption dashboards, user experience feedback loops (Nice to have).
Bilingualism (French and English) is required because of our globally located workforce and daily interface with employees in countries that BRP operates in.
