Job Description:


This job is responsible for resolving day-to-day complex problems, researching, and executing on complex transactions for multiple sites or larger business unit(s). Key responsibilities include leading the design, development, and implementation of products, systems, processes, and services using discretion within the project management methodologies, with a focus on continuous improvement.

This role provides support to Bank of America’s global eDiscovery Operations team on tasks related to data identification and collection.  The primary focus of this role is for collection of electronic data using specified eDiscovery and computer forensics evidence handling techniques and industry-specific processing applications and tools. The role also involves the evaluation and planning for new eDiscovery technologies and processes, working across departments to coordinate requirements and design and implement changes.

Responsibilities:

  • Leads the design, development, and implementation of complex products, systems, and services in an operations environment using subject matter expertise
  • Manages projects and direct activities of a team related to special initiatives
  • Advises as a technical expert in assigned area by providing work direction, guidance, and training to employees and business partners on new complex initiatives
  • Builds relationships with business partners across various Lines of Business
  • Manages and defines responsibilities and accountabilities for key program and projects
  • Work closely with other eDiscovery team members to ensure prompt and accurate execution of requests to identify, collect, and transfer data requested in litigation and regulatory matters.
  • Manage a portfolio of cases where you are responsible to ensure the requested data collections are performed and completed through delivery.
  • Perform complex custodial research to ensure all required data sources are identified and collected per case requirements.
  • Troubleshoot collection failures, stalled collections, and errors. 
  • Complete internal data transfers, perform quality checks, and ensure data is prepared for delivery.

Required Qualifications:

  • 3-5+ years of experience working in an electronic discovery or IT related field or relevant work experience
  • Effective time management and multi-tasking skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong client-service orientation
  • Ability to excel in a metric driven, production environment
  • Strong PC skills
  • Ability to work both independently and in a team environment, while taking responsibility for a task and following it through to completion

Desired Qualifications:

  • Ability to manage priorities with shifting deadlines and dynamic customer requirements
  • Prior experience working with Microsoft 365 suite of tools, including Microsoft Purview
  • Prior experience performing data acquisitions or knowledge of Cyber Forensics tools/processes
  • Prior experience working within the Legal, Regulatory, Information Security or Compliance space
  • Prior experience with Nuix, Powershell, EnCase, SQL, Robocopy and/or the ability to learn new software tools quickly

Pay range

$80,000.00 - $108,200.00 annualized salary, offers to be determined based on experience, education and skill set.
