Job Title:Senior Microsoft 365 Platform Administrator

Location:Nashik

Employment Type: Full Time

The job

The Senior M365 Administrator is the technical lead for our cloud productivity ecosystem. You will be responsible for the high-level design, security hardening, and strategic roadmap of our Microsoft 365 environment. This role requires a "security-first" mindset and the ability to mentor junior staff while collaborating with Executive Leadership and Security teams to align IT capabilities with business goals.

Key responsibilities

  • Architectural Governance: Define and enforce governance frameworks for Teams, SharePoint, and Power Platform to prevent "sprawl" and ensure data integrity.

  • Identity & Access Strategy: Lead the architecture of Microsoft Entra ID, including B2B/B2C configurations, Entra ID Governance (Access Reviews), and sophisticated Conditional Access policies.

  • Security Hardening: Proactively improve the organization's Microsoft Secure Score. Manage Microsoft Defender for Office 365 and Endpoint Manager (Intune) for mobile device management (MDM) and application management (MAM).

  • Compliance & eDiscovery: Act as the technical lead for Microsoft Purview, managing Data Loss Prevention (DLP) policies, sensitivity labels, and complex eDiscovery/litigation hold requests.

  • Advanced Automation: Develop and maintain complex PowerShell modules and Azure Automation runbooks to streamline lifecycle management and auditing.

  • Platform Roadmap: Evaluate new M365 features (e.g., Microsoft 365 Copilot readiness) and conduct impact assessments before global rollouts.

  • Migration Leadership: Lead complex tenant-to-tenant migrations or hybrid integration projects following mergers, acquisitions, or divestitures.

Essential requirements

  • Experience: 7–10+ years in IT infrastructure, with at least 5 years specifically dedicated to Senior M365/Azure administration.

  • Expertise:

    • Deep understanding of Identity Governance and Zero Trust architecture.

    • Proficiency in Graph API for advanced reporting and automation.

    • Experience with Intune / Autopilot for modern endpoint management.

    • Mastery of mail flow logic in complex, multi-domain hybrid environments.

  • Leadership: Proven experience leading technical projects from discovery to implementation and mentoring junior system admins.
