RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Senior Associate will work as part of the Discovery & Analytics Solutions practice, bridging the gap between Associates and Managers. This role involves the ability to assist the team with analytical, financial, and operational tasks, while also taking on leadership responsibilities and providing technical expertise in support of a growing practice.
Create and maintain financial and business metrics reports and scorecards.
Integrate data from multiple reporting systems and provide business analysis based on data.
Gather business requirements and prepare documentation of processes, required functionality, implementation approach, and testing scenarios.
Work with technical teams through project lifecycle.
Utilize SQL, Python, Excel and PowerBI to treat and to provide pictorial explanations to present data.
Communicate regularly with managers to inform of progress of work.
Leverage industry best practices and standards to ensure high quality deliverables.
Provide additional project support to the management team.
Support research and development of products used on a range of projects.
Partner with colleagues on client engagements on investigative projects.
Mentor and supervise Associates, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations.
Collaborate with Kroll colleagues to create cross-functional value-add solutions with technology, data, and analytics components.
Enhance our practice’s market presence with thought leadership, conference/seminar representation, and targeted client interaction.
REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Business Administration or Management (with a concentration in Finance or Economics), Business Analytics, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or Management Information Systems.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in data analysis, forensics, or related fields.
Demonstrated expertise in financial and accounting data, including hands-on experience performing account reconciliations and executing testing of financial transactions.
Strong mathematical, analytical, research, comprehension, and quantitative skills as well as strong verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent time management and organizational skills.
Ability to master new tasks quickly.
Demonstrated leadership experience and strong personal integrity.
Ability to work effectively in a team setting.
Familiarity with Python, SQL and Power BI.
Experience on FTK or any forensic imaging tool.
Experience in managing client relationships and expectations effectively.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities and requirements.
Basic understanding of the application lifecycle process including requirement analysis, design, testing, and change management.
Understanding of the scientific method: Ability to apply the scientific method to problem-solving and decision-making processes.
Nice to have
• Familiarity with using eDiscovery platforms, specifically Relativity and Reveal.
• Familiarity with legal and regulatory requirements related to eDiscovery and data privacy.
