The Global Forensics, Investigations, and eDiscovery Team is Intel's premiere forensic investigative group working with cutting edge technology, leading forensic professionals and a wide range of technical cases.
The team participates in Global Incident Response and investigations surrounding Information Security policy violations and Intellectual Property handling.
The team provides litigation support to our legal partners along with investigative technical support to HR, Corporate Security, Internal Audit and Employment Labor Law. The team specializes in providing forensic analysis of small form factor, digital devices, and storage media.
Responsibilities:
Investigate and analyze cybersecurity incidents and breaches.
Conduct forensic analysis to identify the root cause of security incidents.
Collaborate with IT teams to implement security measures and protocols.
Monitor and assess network traffic for potential threats.
Prepare detailed reports on security incidents and findings.
Stay updated on emerging cybersecurity threats and trends.
Provide recommendations to enhance the organization's security posture.
Train staff on best practices for information security.
Highlight shortcomings in the operations of platform security and compliance processes, and ensure they are appropriately addressed.
Identify security risks and communicate to relevant stakeholders ranging from business leaders to engineers.
Install security measures and software to protect systems and information infrastructure, including firewalls and data encryption programs.
Review incoming contracts to understand security data safeguarding requirements, provide contract modification recommendations, and drive security requirements based on regulatory direction contracts and other security engagements.
Monitor computer networks to identify security threats and investigate security breaches and other cybersecurity incidents.
Remain current with information technology (IT) trends and industry security standards.
Work with information security engineering and architecture staff to perform tests and uncover network vulnerabilities.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or a related field with a minimum of 6+ years of industry experience.
Experience in cybersecurity investigations or incident response.
Computer Forensic Analysis Certifications.
10 years of experience in an investigative role.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in Small Form Factor Analysis.
Experience in dead box digital forensics.
Certifications surrounding Incident Response.
