We are searching for a passionate Digital Forensics Systems Engineer to strengthen our team in Plano. The team is part of Ericsson Group's Insider Threat Prevention & Security Investigations (GS ITP & SI) unit. This is a global unit with teams in the US, Sweden, and Japan. Responsibilities will include (but not be limited to): Design and maintain secure environments for eDiscovery and insider threat prevention, ensuring compliance with global standards. Provide Ericsson Group's digital forensics specialists and security investigators with technical subject matter expertise. Support Ericsson Group's digital forensics specialists and investigators in collecting, processing, and analysing digital evidence (electronically stored information (βESIβ). This role is based on site in Plano, TX. This is not a remote role. What you will do: Design, deploy, and operate high security eDiscovery, insider threat prevention, and security investigations environments and solutions on-prem and in the Cloud. Support digital forensics specialists and security investigators in complex collections of ESI in a forensically sound manner while preserving chain of custody. Ensure compliance with internal and external security standards. The skills you bring: Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience. Technical expertise in IT infrastructure (servers, storage, networking), Azure environments, and cybersecurity frameworks (ISO27001, NIST, CIS). Knowledge of digital, mobile, and network forensics, plus eDiscovery processes. Strong communication skills, curiosity, and a collaborative mindset. Interest in emerging technologies, including generative AI. Experience working according to agile methodologies. Preferably using JIRA. A strong, delivery-focused, work ethic and the ability to respond to fast-moving issues across time zones. Ability to obtain and maintain security clearance; this role requires security vetting due to the sensitive nature of the work. What happens once you apply?
