Your Impact
The Data Operations Analyst consults with customers to prepare data for legal review in DISCOβs eDiscovery platform, and provides assistance to end-users throughout the legal discovery process, troubleshoots technical issues, and guides customers to use the DISCO platform optimally.
What You'll Do
- Data Processing and Management: Coordinates the processing, loading, and exporting of data to and from the eDiscovery platform. Manipulates incoming load files to meet DISCO ingest specifications. Facilitates the administration and tracking of client data, ensuring compliance with case requirements and data retention policies. Performs periodic audits to maintain data integrity.
- Data Troubleshooting and Quality Control: Troubleshoots data issues encountered with unstructured and structured data. Performs thorough quality control and validations on all assigned tasks before delivery. Accurately logs and classifies issues for Engineering interventions, product improvements, and reporting purposes. Contributes proactively to product improvements and related documentation.
- Workload Management and Communication: Prioritizes workload assignments and communicates job status and potential issues to internal and external stakeholders. Handles multiple projects and priorities in a highly time-sensitive environment. Adheres to company policies and procedures for ticket creation, updates, and resolution. Proactively monitors open tickets in Salesforce, provides timely updates to customers, and maintains professionalism and quality service in all communication.
- Custom Productions and Productivity Enhancement: Creates custom data productions that adhere to client technical specifications. Contributes to ongoing product enhancements and suggests improvements to optimize efficiency and productivity.
- Professionalism and Collaboration: Displays professionalism, quality service, and a positive attitude in interactions with internal members, departments, external clients, and vendors through effective written and verbal communication.
Who You Are
- 1+ experience technical troubleshooting
- 1+ years of eDiscovery or digital forensics data processing experience
- General understanding of the eDiscovery lifecycle and related data processing standards
- Attention to detail, strong organization, and client-service orientation skills.
- Advanced skills with Excel (vlookups, macros, etc.) and experience using formulas in Excel to manipulate data.
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal) in order to interact effectively with coworkers and clients.
- Ability to accurately determine a clientβs requirements and take ownership of client requests.
Even Better If You Have
- Knowledge of a variety of legacy and current litigation specific software tools; particularly data processing platforms such as Ipro, Nuix, eCapture, and LAW
- Knowledge of industry standards in regards to eDiscovery deliverables (load files, images, natives, etc.)
- Knowledge of EDRM
