What you'll be doing
- Lead and coordinate the team responsible for file share reorganizations and eDiscovery activities within Windows File Services environments.
- Manage and prioritize reorganization and eDiscovery requests, ensuring tasks are executed accurately and within agreed SLA timelines.
- Ensure all operational activities are fully documented and audit-ready, including approvals, change evidence, and execution records.
- Oversee adherence to ITIL processes, including Incident, Request, Change, and Continuous Service Improvement (CSI) practices.
- Act as the primary escalation point for operational issues, ensuring timely resolution and effective stakeholder communication.
- Serve as the main point of contact for business and technical stakeholders, ensuring clear communication in German and English, particularly for RO-based operations.
- Drive continuous service improvement initiatives, identifying opportunities for process optimization, automation, and operational efficiency in collaboration with the CSI team.
- Prepare and deliver KPI, SLA, and operational performance reports for management and governance reviews.
- Facilitate Change Advisory Board (CAB) meetings, improvement workshops, and operational review sessions.
- Ensure operational compliance with security, governance, and regulatory requirements.
- Mentor and guide team members to maintain high operational standards and promote knowledge sharing within the team.
- Participate in on-call rotations and out-of-hours support for live streaming events and critical service incidents.
What you'll bring along
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Minimum 5-10 years of experience in IT operations, with proven experience leading operational or infrastructure support teams.
- Strong expertise in Windows File Services structures, file share management, and delegated rights administration.
- Deep knowledge of ITIL processes, including Change Management, Incident Management, Request Fulfilment, and Continuous Service Improvement (CSI).
- Experience managing organizational change initiatives, operational improvements, and service optimization programs.
- Familiarity with compliance, governance, and audit requirements in enterprise IT environments.
- Strong leadership, coordination, and stakeholder management skills with the ability to guide teams through operational challenges.
- Excellent analytical and strategic thinking abilities, with a focus on continuous improvement and automation opportunities.
- Ability to communicate effectively with technical teams, management, and business stakeholders.
- ITIL v4 Managing Professional certification (mandatory).
- Agile or Scrum certification is considered an advantage.
- Strong reporting and presentation skills for KPI, SLA, and operational governance reporting.
- Excellent command of both spoken and written English and German.
