Job Purpose:
The Python SQL ETL Specialist will be responsible for supporting the Bank’s Regulatory Retention E-Communications Archive team. This team ensures e-discovery and supervision services, processes, archives, and owns record management for multiple data feeds. You will lead design, development, and implementation of technical integrations, improve workflows, and ensure compliance with rigorous control procedures.

  • Lead the design, development, and implementation of technical integrations to ensure timely delivery of e-communications archive solutions.
  • Develop code to translate files (e.g., XML, JSON, CSV, Tab Delimited) into specific XML formats for archiving.
  • Capture, log exceptions, and handle abnormalities with automated responses.
  • Create and maintain documentation to ensure all custom integrations are thoroughly documented for supportability and transparency.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to document and validate requirements.
  • Plan work sprints, provide delivery timelines, and execute business logic for backend development.
  • Provide day-to-day support for data and application issues, ensuring systems remain operational.
  • Configure vendor products and build integrations.
  • Design and develop automation software to streamline workflows.
  • Work independently and cooperatively within a team to complete deliverables.

Required Qualifications:

  • Technical Skills:
    • Python Development on Windows
    • MS SQL Queries & Stored Procedures
    • RedHat Python Development and VIM
    • Experience with Web APIs/SOAP and REST Services
    • Strong proficiency in Linux
  • Experience & Education:
    • Minimum 5+ years of experience in Python development
    • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field

Desired Qualifications:

  • Strong knowledge of Messaging, Archival, and eDiscovery
  • Experience with M365, Teams, SharePoint, etc.
