Job Description:
JOB SUMMARY:
Responsible for technical planning and execution for court reporting and trial services (both internal and client-facing), including gathering and prioritising requirements for trial services, defining the vision for trial services, and collaborating with development, IT, and operations departments in order to ensure that financial and functionality goals are met and that the company’s overall strategy and goals are supported.
You should be prepared to make decisions with imperfect information, know how to lead without authority and be comfortable managing chaos, ambiguity and complexity. You must possess a unique blend of business and technical savvy that includes a big-picture vision and the drive to make that vision a reality. You must enjoy spending time with customers to understand their problems and working with technical teams to develop innovative solutions. You'll need to be able to speak effectively to executives, supporting your decisions with data.
JOB DUTIES:
CREDENTIALS:
Education: Degree in engineering, computer science, IT or related discipline. Project Management qualification/s a plus.
Experience and Track Record: 5 years’ trial services experience including management of end to end client facing service delivery.
Communication Skills: The role is of a cross-functional nature that demands constant interactions and deliberations with other departments and teams and requires superior communication skills, both verbal and written.
Analytical Skills: To enable evaluation of proposed solutions and strategies, candidates will need to have a superior ability to synthesise diverse and complex information and data and design refined strategies, solutions, workflows, and procedures.
Leadership: Excellent leadership qualities and the ability to influence and inspire.
People Skills: Excellent people skills to enable the creation of long-lasting working relationships and facilitate smooth collaboration and performance of functions internally.
MS Office: Expertise in Word and Excel and other analytical tools. Proficient in the use of PowerPoint in order to create engaging content for presentations.
Work Ethic: Performs and completes tasks in a timely fashion; adheres to workplace procedures, policies and ethics; is a creative thinker who can develop product solutions on short notice; and displays calmness and composure in the face of workload and pressure.
