The following position is to join RTX Corporate Legal team:

RTX is looking for an experienced Paralegal professional who will provide critical support to the Enterprise Services Legal, Cyber and Privacy Team. The ideal candidate will be a highly motivated, team player with strong organizational and interpersonal skills.

What You Will Do:

  • Provides legal advice and services on issues concerning the rights, obligations and privileges of the organization.
  • Represents the organization to customers, suppliers, competitors and government agencies.
  • Provides resolution of business or technical issues by identifying legal solutions and recommending a course of action.
  • Examines legal data to determine advisability of defending or prosecuting lawsuits.
  • Performs a variety of law-related tasks under the direction of the organization’s attorneys. Conducts legal research, drafts legal documents and performs other related duties.
  • Has or is working towards a paralegal designation. Assists with legal review of company documents, policies and procedures.
  • Supports and prepares agreements, instruments, documents, and pleadings relating to litigation and non-litigation matters.
  • Drafts paperwork, contracts and other legal documents to support and for review of attorneys.
  • Reviews and evaluates research data in support of litigation.
  • Responsible for significant improvements of processes to enhance Paralegal performance.
  • Conducts legal analysis with minimal supervision. Reviews and evaluates basic and complex research data, such as statutes, decisions, legal articles, codes, and documents to ensure that the corporate interests are well-protected.
  • Prepare and draft legal documents, such as patent applications and contracts. Resolves legal questions under the direction of an attorney.
  • Reviews facts and case law, analyzes and searches pertinent sources, such as public records, to determine causes of action and to prepare complex and sensitive cases

Qualifications You Must Have:

  • Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 9 years of relevant experience
  • Ability to navigate and use Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
  • Written skills for reports, interview summaries, and presentations.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, tasks and deadlines.
  • Interpersonal skills a must (both written and oral) with the ability to professionally and collaboratively address and resolve issues.
  • Task oriented, analytical, organized, detail oriented, self-motivated; the ability to work as part of a team and multi-task is essential.
  • Maintaining confidentiality of sensitive information is vital.

Qualifications We Prefer:

  • Experience being a project leader
  • Experience working in a fast-paced corporate environment.
  • Experience using e-discovery tools, including familiarity with Relativity.
  • Management and organization of client and internal department documents and processes in electronic format; launching and maintenance of data sites.
  • The ability to work as a strong contributor in a team environment and able to interact will all levels of staff and management.
  • Ability to use independent judgment and creativity applied to resolution of issues.

The salary range for this role is 86,800 USD - 165,200 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
