Job Summary:

The M365 Solution Architect is responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing Microsoft 365 solutions for Averis and its customers. This role involves working closely with clients, stakeholders, and technical teams to define business requirements and translate them into scalable, secure, and high-performance M365 solutions. The candidate need to be equipped with expertise in M365 technologies, architecture best practices, and cloud solutions, with a strong understanding of how to leverage M365 to drive business transformation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, architect, and document Microsoft 365 solutions that meet business and technical requirements including system configurations, workflow, security and integration points.
  • Develop solutions that integrate Microsoft 365 services such as Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, OneDrive, EntraID, Microsoft Application and Copilots into existing IT ecosystems.
  • Recommend M365-based solutions and provide guidance on migration and implementation strategies.
  • Ensure integration with on-premises systems, third-party tools, existing Data Loss Prevention (DLP) Systems, and other cloud services (e.g. AWS) when required.
  • Implement governance policies, security controls, identity and access management for Microsoft 365 environments (e.g. EntraID, eDiscovery).
  • Oversee the migration of data, applications, and services to Microsoft 365 while ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
  • Provide recommendations for enhancing performance, user adoption, and operational efficiency.
  • Stay up-to-date on the latest M365 features, updates, and best practices, and incorporate new technologies as appropriate.

Qualifications:

Education and Experience:

  • Proven experience in solution architecture with more than 10,000 M365 users and strong focus on M365 technologies.
  • Experience designing, deploying, and managing M365 solutions in medium to large-scale enterprises.
  • Microsoft certifications, such as Microsoft Certified: M365 Certified: Enterprise Administrator Expert, are highly preferred.

Skills and Knowledge:

  • Strong expertise in Microsoft 365 products and services (Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, OneDrive, EntraID, Microsoft Application and Copilots).
  • In-depth understanding of cloud architecture principles.
  • Experience with enterprise-level M365 migrations, including hybrid and full cloud scenarios.
  • Knowledge of IT security and compliance frameworks.
  • Familiarity with Active Directory, EntraID, and SSO.
  • Experience with PowerShell scripting and automation in M365 environments.

Preferred Qualifications:

Certifications:

  • Microsoft Certified: M365 Certified: Solutions Expert (or equivalent advanced certification).
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) or Agile certifications.

Experience:

  • Experience with Office 365 migrations, hybrid environments, and cloud transformations.
  • Familiarity with additional Microsoft technologies such as Power Platform (PowerApps, Power Automate, Power BI) is a plus.
