About the Role
The Litigation Paralegal will play a critical, hands-on role supporting Haleon’s U.S. and global litigation portfolio, working closely with inhouse litigation counsel, the e-discovery team, legal operations, internal stakeholders, and outside counsel. This role requires independence, judgment, and deep experience managing litigation from pre-suit through resolution.
The Litigation Paralegal supports high volume, high complexity matters, including class actions, employment litigation, product liability, consumer fraud, contract disputes and other litigations.
This is a full-time, flexible hybrid position requiring three days per week in the office, reporting to Haleon’s Warren, NJ location.
Key Responsibilities
Litigation Support
Support inhouse attorneys in all phases of litigation, including pre-suit assessment, discovery, depositions, hearings, trials, settlements, and post-resolution activities.
Draft, issue, and manage Preservation Notices and coordinate with Legal, IT, and investigations teams to ensure compliance.
Schedule, coordinate, and attend custodian and witness interviews and depositions with the business, in‑house and outside counsel.
Accept, track, and route service of process via CSC and ensure proper handling and escalation of matters across Haleon entities.
Manage litigation database ensuring case management entries are up to date and timely entered.
Conduct PACER searches and other docket monitoring for Haleon entities at the request of legal team members.
Discovery & eDiscovery
Coordinate information and document collection efforts by liaising with discovery team, business employees, and outside counsel.
Support written discovery, document review workflows, and production logistics.
Request and manage personnel files and payroll records for employment litigation and subpoenas.
Vendors & Legal Operations
Onboard outside counsel through Haleon’s Third Party Risk Management system.
Coordinate with Legal Operations on opening new matters, preparing fee agreements, billing, invoice research, and vendor queries.
Prepare and manage settlement payment requests, including coordination with payroll, and finance teams.
Why you?
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree and/or Paralegal Certificate from an ABA approved or equivalent program.
5+ years of litigation paralegal experience, preferably in‑house and/or at a large law firm handling complex litigation.
Demonstrated experience managing multijurisdictional litigation and high volume dockets.
Strong working knowledge of U.S. litigation procedures, discovery, preservation obligations, and court processes.
Experience working with eDiscovery vendors, PACER, CM/ECF, and litigation support tools.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and document management systems.
Exceptional organizational and communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage competing priorities independently.
Preferred Skills:
Experience supporting consumer class actions, product liability, employment litigation, or regulated industries (pharma, healthcare).
Prior experience with settlement administration and litigation finance workflows.
Comfort working in a fast paced, lean inhouse legal team with significant responsibility and autonomy.
Compensation: The hourly range for this role is: $40.43 - $55.60 plus an 8% on-target bonus.
Location: This role is based in based in Warren, NJ, and follows a hybrid model, requiring a minimum in-office presence of 3 days per week.
