What You Will Do:
A Litigation Engineer assists attorneys with litigation-related tasks, focusing on technical aspects of evidence presentation and discovery. This could involve using eDiscovery tools, analyzing data, and potentially operating courtroom technology. Responsibilities could include document review, communicating findings, and managing complex workflows.
Responsibilities of this role are as follows, to include but not limited to:
Legal and Administrative Support: Perform tasks requested by attorneys, and scheduling.
eDiscovery: Utilize eDiscovery platforms to review documents, analyze data, and communicate findings to attorneys.
Data Analysis and Reporting: Analyze data extracted from electronic documents and prepare reports for attorneys.
Support infrastructure systems on Windows-based platforms
Support and maintain high availability, distributed, multi-clustered server infrastructure and systems
Technical writing/creation of formal documentation such as architecture diagrams, technical designs, and SOPs
What You Will Need:
An ACTIVE and MAINTAINED "TOP SECRET" Federal or DoD security clearance; must UPGRADE and MAINTAIN a "TOP SECRET/SCI (TS/SCI)" Federal or DoD security clearance
SIX (6) or more years of experience in engineering and/or deploying complex IT systems
Familiarity with litigation technologies
Legal Knowledge: Basic understanding of legal concepts, research tools (LEXIS, Westlaw), and/or standard legal citation.
What Would Be Nice To Have:
Bachelor's degree
Technical Skills: Proficiency with computer applications, databases, spreadsheets, and imaging software is crucial.
Paralegal Certificate or Legal Education
