Accountabilities:
Business-Oriented Legal Advice: Provide fast, practical guidance on routine regulatory pharmaceutical matters and other topics tied to our practices, scaling into strategic and more complex issues as you grow.
Strategic Project Support: Partner with Legal Managers on high-impact initiatives, progressively taking on greater ownership and autonomy.
Contract Lifecycle Ownership: Lead end-to-end contract management to drive accuracy, speed, and effective risk mitigation—clearing the path for the business to execute.
Litigation Strategy and Management: Develop data-driven litigation strategies and oversee case management to protect the company’s interests and extract insights that improve future decisions.
External Counsel Management: Select, brief, and manage external law firms to achieve high-quality outcomes with smart resource allocation and cost efficiency.
Legal Operations Improvement: Use metrics and insights to refine processes, standardize tools, and inform decision-making for sustained performance gains.
AI-Enabled Productivity: Apply and deepen knowledge of AI tools to automate routine tasks, enhance quality, and enable innovation within the legal function.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work across teams with strong prioritization, agility, creativity, and a proactive learning mindset to deliver outcomes that matter.
Essential Skills/Experience:
Active Bar License in Brazil (OAB)
Experience in law firms or pharmaceutical companies
Provide fast, business-oriented legal advice on routine matters related to regulatory pharma matters and others related to our practices, with progressive exposure to strategic and more complex topics.
Support Legal Managers on strategic projects, increasing autonomy as experience grows.
Lead end-to-end contract management, ensuring accuracy, speed, and effective risk mitigation.
Develop litigation strategies and oversee litigation management with a strategic and data-driven mindset.
Manage external law firms with a focus on smart resource allocation, cost efficiency, and high-quality outcomes.
Drive continuous improvement of legal operations, using data insights to enhance processes and inform decisions.
Apply and deepen knowledge of AI tools to improve productivity and enable innovation within the legal function.
Work collaboratively across teams, showing strong prioritization, agility, creativity, and a proactive learning mindset.
Desirable Skills/Experience:
Experience in a pharmaceutical or highly regulated industry.
Background in contract lifecycle management platforms and legal matter management tools.
Exposure to eDiscovery, analytics, or dashboarding for legal metrics.
Experience coordinating multijurisdictional matters and working with global teams.
Ability to translate legal risk into actionable business choices for non-legal stakeholders.
