Job Description:

Summary:

We are currently seeking an IT Support and Administrative Intern to join our dynamic team. This role is tailored for an ITE student or recent graduate who is enthusiastic about applying their technical knowledge and administrative skills in a professional environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering first-level tech support and handling a variety of administrative tasks. This position calls for an individual with meticulous attention to detail, who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can readily adapt to our organization's workflow and culture.

Key Responsibilities:

Technical Support:

  • Serving as the initial point of contact for technical support, providing solutions, and escalating issues when necessary.
  • Managing user requests, directing them to the appropriate resources, and ensuring timely resolution.
  • Maintaining detailed records of technical issues and resolutions to enhance future support efforts.
  • Assisting in the management and maintenance of IT infrastructure, including hardware, software, and network systems.
  • Providing guidance and support to staff regarding the use of various IT resources.

Administrative Tasks:

  • Assisting the finance team with updating trackers, preparing reports, and managing invoicing tasks for clients and partners.
  • Ensuring accurate and timely document preparation, including transcripts and month-end reports.
  • Performing administrative duties such as file management, data entry, and conducting quality checks on documents.
  • Undertaking ad hoc responsibilities as needed to support the team and enhance office efficiency.

Job Requirements:

  • Currently enrolled in or a recent graduate from an ITE program, specializing in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Preferred, though not required, 1-2 years of experience in an administrative role.
  • Solid technical aptitude with a comprehensive understanding of IT principles and the ability to troubleshoot basic issues.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
  • Proactive attitude towards learning new skills and adapting to changes in workflow or technology.
