Our national Insurance & Health practice combines deep industry knowledge with local expertise and the highest standards of client service. Our team has the depth of experience and agility to help our clients, both in Australia and overseas, to navigate the complex risk landscape and support their insureds. About The Role
We’re seeking at least 15 Paralegals/Law Clerks to join our national Insurance & Health team to work on a large class action being handled by our Perth office.  It’s anticipated that the discovery phase of the file will run for 12-18 months. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience on a large matter while working alongside a team of specialists in their field, headed up by Principal Cameron Maclean.

Duties of this role will include:

  • assisting with discovery for a large-scale class action;
  • reviewing a high volume of documents; and
  • utilising the Relativity e-Discovery platform for document review and data management.

About You
If the following sounds like you, we would love to hear from you:

  • you are available for an immediate start (or within the next few weeks);
  • you are a penultimate or final-year law student, or a recent law graduate;
  • you are able to commit to the role over the course of the next 12 months;
  • you are available to work at least three days per week on an ongoing basis;
  • you are highly organised, able to meet deadlines and pick up new systems quickly; and
  • you have strong attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions and procedures.

Please note that we are open to candidates in either Adelaide, Melbourne, Brisbane, Perth or Sydney.

This would also be a good opportunity for overseas qualified lawyers seeking to get Australian legal experience.
