Leidos is looking for an E-Discovery Data Specialist I to join our Washington, DC team supporting the United States Attorney’s Office (USAO) for the District of Columbia.
Primary Responsibilities:
Performs routine litigation support tasks necessary to process common Electronically Stored Information (ESI) (e.g., PDF files, Word documents, Excel spreadsheets, PowerPoint files, emails, etc.) and prepare it for review or production by the litigation team.
Uses specialized software applications (e.g., processing software) to perform basic processing tasks and meet the technical needs of criminal and civil litigation teams
Performs file manipulation, loading, conversion services, database indexing, and quality checks of loads.
Intake and Process Native ESI to Load Files.
Process ESI pursuant to industry standards and technical specifications provided by USAODC.
Import, without issue, ESI and other data from supporting external forensic and eDiscovery databases, to include any attorney review work product (tagging, foldering, etc.) conducted on those databases.
Process native files through software such as Nuix or LAW and export searchable PDFs or load-ready data for case teams. Data may or may not have to be imported into Relativity, Everlaw or Eclipse.
Basic Qualifications:
Requires some experience with the applications actually being supported.
Knowledge of file manipulation applications and experience with LAW, IPRO, ICONECT, and Relativity, is extremely helpful.
Knowledge of Government’s IT environment, including office automation networks, PC and server based applications very helpful.
Undergraduate degree (or equivalent).
Preferred Qualifications:
Technical certification valued.
Experience working in a Government and/or Litigation Support environment.
Undergraduate degree preferred - preferably in the computer science or information
Working knowledge and experience with Relativity, Nuix or LAW
Familiarity with automated litigation support helpful
This position is covered under the Service Contract Act and is subject to minimum requirements. Leidos ensures that all provisions are satisfied. The pay for this position will be $33.99/hr.
