About The Role
We’re seeking an e-Discovery Coordinator to join our national Insurance & Health team to lead a team of paralegals undertaking discovery on a large class action being managed by our Perth office.  It’s anticipated that the discovery phase of the file will run for 12-18 months so this role will initially be a 12 month contract, with the potential to extend. The level one discovery document review team will consist of approximately 20 Paralegals. This is a fantastic opportunity to coordinate this large discovery task, working alongside a team of specialists in their field, headed up by Principal Cameron Maclean.

Duties of this role will include:

  •  managing the review team including answering queries and approving timesheets;
  •  managing the document review process;
  •  creating processes and efficiencies including optimising Relativity functionality;
  •  regular reporting to the solicitor team working on the matter, including via weekly meetings; and
  •  monitoring court and matter deadlines, tracking relevant correspondence and updating action lists.

About You
If the following sounds like you, we would love to hear from you:

  • you have experience in discovery processes or legal project management (mandatory);
  •  you have experience managing a team;
  •  you have experience in the Relativity e-Discovery platform, or similar;
  •  you are highly organised, able to meet deadlines and have experience working in busy environments;
  •  you are able to create and optimise processes for efficiency; and
  •  you have strong attention to detail and clear communication.

 Benefits of Working with Us
Just to name a few, we have:

  •  been acknowledged as an ‘Employer of Choice’ for the last 7 years;
  •  a supportive environment where managers genuinely care about your wellbeing;
  •  a relaxed office environment where you can “Dress for your Day”; and
  • access to our Health & Wellbeing program, BNWell, which supports the mental, physical and financial wellbeing of our people.
