Position Overview:

Our Development Senior Director is a key team member of our Enterprise Business Technology Office (EBTO) Team. Our group is responsible for External Relations and Corporate Communications, Legal, Internal Audit, Operational Resiliency, and Regulatory businesses, and partnering with the firm’s divisions to define strategies, roadmaps, objectives, and deliver capabilities that transform the non-finance corporate divisions.  This role will be responsible for a diverse portfolio of technology solutions for these divisions.

The Senior Director will assemble and lead multi-discipline technology teams, provide technical direction (including the ability to understand code), review and set designs/architectures, direct vendor selection and management, and ensure alignment between programs, business partners, and EO&T teams and strategies. This position requires a strong communicator who can translate complex technical issues into easily understood communications that will influence executive audiences with varied technical backgrounds and capabilities.

Our Impact:

•  Delivery of technology solutions including implementation of custom developed, SaaS, COTS, and Data applications to optimally perform digital marketing, legal, audit, resiliency, and regulatory operations, analytics, and reporting functions

•  Establishment of common data platforms, to deliver data solutions that will enable divisions to be strategic partners, manage effective and efficient controls and processes, and remain nimble and open to change

Your Impact:

• Collaborate with business and technology partners to define technology strategy and vision

• Improve our portfolio by modernizing our technology and team capabilities, taking advantage of emerging trends

• Lead a development team supporting a varied application portfolio through subordinate managers

• Partner to build data platforms to enable self-service analytics and reporting

• Implement solutions to satisfy Corporate and FHFA scorecards

• Lead the reporting and remediation of security vulnerabilities and application obsolescence

•  Assess architectural changes, technology platform decisions, and new technology selection and introduction for its impacts to the business

•  Establish operational objectives and work plans, and delegate assignments to subordinate leaders; Prepare materials for Senior management reviews of objectives, programs, deliveries, issues, and risks to determine success of operation. Involved in developing, modifying, and executing company policies that affect immediate operations and have a company-wide effect

•  Work on issues where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth knowledge of technologies, coding, and organizational objectives. Implement strategic policies when selecting methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria for delivering results

•  Regularly interact with senior management or executive levels on matters concerning several functional areas, divisions, and/or customers. Requires the ability to change the thinking of, or gain acceptance from, others in sensitive situations, without damage to relationship

•  Provide product support when issues are identified either by the Product Team directly or as triaged and raised by Global Operations

Qualifications:

• 15+ years of relevant IT and management experience
• Experience in directing a team of 25+ IT professionals and developing partnerships with multiple sophisticated business areas concurrently to deliver complicated technology solutions
• Experience and knowledge of data migration from on-prem to Cloud platforms
• Experience with SaaS implementations
• Experience with Agile development and product teams
• Technical design and coding capabilities
• Familiarity with coding languages and vendor product languages - JAVA, Python, Web content management tools (Drupal), Sharepoint, eDiscovery, Appian, GenAI products etc.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience; advanced/studies degree preferred

This position has an annualized market-based salary range of $216,000 - $324,000 and is eligible to participate in the annual incentive program. The final salary offered will generally fall within this range and is dependent on various factors including but not limited to the responsibilities of the position, experience, skill set, internal pay equity and other relevant qualifications of the applicant.
