Job Description:
The Casual Transcription Editor is responsible for editing and proofreading transcriptions produced by Speech-To-Text engines, ensuring accuracy and compliance with client requirements.
Essential Job Responsibilities
Edit and proofread transcriptions to ensure accuracy and compliance with client requirements
Manage confidential documents related to court cases and other proceedings.
Collaborate with colleagues to ensure accurate and complete reporting of court proceedings.
Ensure compliance with legal standards and procedures in transcription editing.
Conduct legal reporting to support court cases and provide relevant information to legal professionals.
Implement quality control measures to maintain the integrity of transcriptions.
Support office administration tasks related to transcription editing and proofreading.
Qualifications & Requirements
Education:
Required: High school diploma or equivalent.
Preferred: Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a related field.
Experience:
Required: Minimum of 2 years of experience in transcription editing or a related field.
Preferred: Experience in a similar role within the legal industry.
