Job Description:

The GBTS Billing Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the billing operations within the organization. This role ensures accurate and timely billing, resolves billing issues, and supervises the billing team. The GBTS Billing Supervisor plays a crucial role in maintaining the integrity of the billing system and supporting the organization's financial operations. This position will directly supervise a team of seven billing specialists.

Essential Job Responsibilities

  • Oversee and manage daily billing activities to ensure accuracy and efficiency.

  • Identify and resolve billing discrepancies and issues promptly.

  • Provide guidance and support to the billing team to ensure smooth operations.

  • Work closely with finance, sales, and customer service teams to improve billing processes.

  • Regularly review billing data to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies.

  • Generate and present billing reports to management.

  • Ensure all billing activities comply with company policies and regulatory requirements.

  • Recommend and implement improvements to enhance billing efficiency and accuracy.

  •  Assist customers with billing inquiries and issues.

  • Train and mentor junior billing staff to ensure high performance and professional growth.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.

  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in billing, finance, or a related field. Experience in a supervisory role is preferred.

  • Ability to walk, bend, kneel, stand or sit for an extended period of time

The Compensation range for this role is 31.00 to 37.00 USD per hour and may be eligible for an annual bonus. Actual compensation within that range will be dependent upon the individual's location, skills, experience and qualifications.
