Your role

As VP, Global Technology Alliances, you will own, design, and expand Global Relay’s global partner ecosystem, including technology alliances and channel sales, with companies such as Meta, Verizon, Bell, Nvidia, Twilio, HPE, and others, as well as resellers and other channel partners.

This is a founding leadership role responsible for building the infrastructure, programs, and operational acceleration that will power Global Relay’s partner ecosystem, including both technology alliances and channel sales. You will own the end-to-end partner experience from program design, to driving product integrations, to ongoing success and satisfaction, and will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive channel sales strategy that drives revenue growth through resellers and other channel partners.

This role requires someone who is both strategic and deeply operational, capable of designing world-class programs while also rolling up their sleeves to build relationships, frameworks and resolve critical issues.

Reporting directly to the EVP of Americas Sales, this role will have the opportunity to build a Technology Alliances program from the ground up, and lead a channel sales function, establishing the structure, processes, and governance needed for long-term growth.

 

Your responsibilities: 

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive partnership strategy for technology partner ecosystems that aligns with Global Relay’s GTM priorities and revenue objectives
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive channel sales strategy that drives revenue growth through resellers and other channel partners, including recruiting, onboarding, and enabling new channel partners
  • Establish a scalable framework for onboarding, training, and enabling partners, including resellers, to ensure consistent execution and measurable impact across all partnership types
  • Build and mentor a high-performing partnerships and channel sales team over time, including Partner Managers, Alliance Leads, and Channel Sales Managers aligned to specific pillars or regions
  • Identify and execute new partnership opportunities that expand Global Relay’s reach in financial services, life sciences, and other regulated industries, through technology partners and resellers
  • Manage and optimize channel sales performance, including setting targets, tracking progress, and providing feedback and coaching to channel sales partners

About you:

  • 12+ years of experience in strategic partnerships, business development, channel management, or sales within SaaS, cloud, or enterprise software environments
  • Proven success influencing and engaging senior executives at global technology companies, as well as experience working with resellers and other channel partners
  • Deep understanding of enterprise compliance, data governance, and regulatory technology is a strong asset
  • Strong negotiation and relationship management skills, with a track record of structuring and executing complex commercial partnerships, including channel sales agreements
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with demonstrated ability to build and scale partner programs from concept to execution
  • Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach, with the ability to drive alignment across Sales, Product, Marketing, and Executive teams

 

 

Compensation:

Global Relay advertises the pay range for this role in compliance with applicable pay transparency laws. Individual pay rates are determined by evaluating factors such as expertise, skills, education, and professional background.

The range below reflects the expected annual base salary, which is only one element of our comprehensive total rewards package designed to reflect our company pay philosophy, culture and values. $190,000$280,000 USD
