The OSI is a unique and rare operating environment bringing investigations, intelligence, digital forensic members and support staff from across the AFP, Commonwealth partners, state police agencies, and members recruited from private industry to investigate allegations of war crimes between 2005 and 2016.

The successful applicant will be employed under the following framework of conditions:
Suitability for OSI employment will be assessed by a Selection Advisory Committee (SAC) and a decision will be made by the delegate.
The OSI DF Team Leader will be responsible for the leadership and management of a small team to ensure effective and efficient digital forensics support to OSI investigations.
