Mission: Manage in-house litigation and oversee outside litigation
Role: The Senior Litigation Counsel will be a member of MGA Entertainment’s in-house Litigation Department, representing the company’s broad portfolio of toys, entertainment, and other consumer products, in matters around the world that raise interesting, challenging, and even issues of first impression in areas of intellectual property and entertainment. The Senior Litigation Counsel will be responsible for handling disputes, advising internal business clients, and litigating cases as counsel-of-record (both independently and under supervision of other in-house litigators) or in collaboration with outside counsel. The Senior Litigation Counsel will work on a wide range of matters, including general commercial disputes, intellectual property disputes (copyright, trademark, and patent), products liability, employment litigation, third-party subpoenas, and other matters.
The Senior Litigation Counsel will report to the SVP, Global Head of Litigation, and will work closely with other senior in-house litigators and lawyers in other practice groups on a broad variety of litigation and risk management issues.
