About the Role
Join Swiss Re as a Senior Microsoft 365 Workplace Engineer and expert!
You will participate in the end to end solution design and implementation of new services, controls, and capabilities in order to continuously improve security, governance, and compliance for the Microsoft 365 platform, as well as related technologies such as Workplace GenAI tools, at Swiss Re.
Responsibilities:
Drive improvements of the Microsoft 365 and Workplace GenAI core platform including identifying, evaluating, and deploying new platform capabilities, processes, and solutions as per business requirements.
Design, architect and implement Microsoft 365 and Workplace GenAI security, governance and compliance controls that grow with emerging risks and SwissRe requirements.
Assist in third level support cases interfacing both with vendors and internal teams.
Continuously upskill, improve procedures and share knowledge

You should bring some years of experience in a similar role and have a track record of successful delivery.
You will need:
Expert knowledge of M365 platform and services, including related security, governance and compliance capabilities such as Microsoft Purview and Defender toolset.
Proven experience working with modern DevOps toolchains (e.g., Git, Azure DevOps) and CI/CD methodologies.
Advanced automation and scripting capabilities using PowerShell, Power Automate, and other modern tools supporting continuous delivery and operational efficiency.
Good working knowledge of Azure, Networking, Data management and visualisation,including knowledge of tools like MS Power Platform, Palantir Foundry or similar
Good working knowledge of M365 Copilot and ChatGPT Enterprise, as well as agentic AI architecture and principles
Understand underlying components in the area of Azure Cloud, Identity and Access Management as well as provisioning, authorization and authentication concepts
Fluent English and excellent communication skills at all levels of the organisation and beyond
Nice to have:
Experience in a global enterprise, preferably with experience in the insurance and financial sector.
Experience with eDiscovery, Compliance Capture and Risk Management methodology
Experience with Exchange Messaging
Experience working in agile SCRUM methodology
Programming / Development experience using a modern programming language (C#, javascript, python)
For Spain, the base salary range for this position is between EUR 60,000 and EUR 100,000 (for a full-time role). The specific salary offered considers:
