How you’ll make an impact
As a Senior Technical Analyst, you’ll help design, modernize, and operate FCC’s Data Loss Prevention (DLP) program, strengthening the organization’s information security, governance, and compliance posture. You’ll protect sensitive information across Microsoft 365 and third‑party applications while enabling secure and efficient collaboration. Through advanced problem‑solving and cross‑functional collaboration, you’ll address complex security and compliance challenges, improve operational maturity, and support scalable, resilient technology practices.

What you’ll do

  • Design and modernize Data Loss Prevention program architecture and operations
  • Collaborate with colleagues and partners to solve complex and high‑impact security and compliance issues
  • Identify, classify, and protect sensitive information across Microsoft 365 (SharePoint, OneDrive, Exchange) and third‑party applications
  • Perform risk assessments, gap analyses, and develop mitigation plans to strengthen security and compliance controls
  • Automate DLP and compliance processes using modern capabilities and AI‑enabled insights to improve efficiency
  • Provide operational support, incident response, and remediation for Microsoft 365 and third‑party application security and compliance events
  • Translate business and regulatory requirements into technical solutions and configurations
  • Provide informal leadership, knowledge sharing, and mentorship within the team

Required qualifications

  • A bachelor’s degree and at least four years of related experience
    (or an equivalent combination of education and experience)
  • Deep understanding of the Microsoft ecosystem and its interconnected services, particularly SharePoint, OneDrive, and Exchange
  • Advanced technical experience in data discovery, identification, classification, and protection across multiple platforms
  • Strong independent problem‑solving skills with the ability to resolve complex issues

Preferred qualifications

  • Technical expertise in Microsoft 365 Security & Compliance, including:
    • Microsoft Purview
    • Information Protection
    • Data Loss Prevention
    • eDiscovery
    • Data Lifecycle Management
    • Communication Compliance
  • Experience supporting or operating modern Data Loss Prevention programs
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with cross‑functional teams
  • Bilingualism (English and French) is an asset
