Position Title: Mid Office 365 System Administrator

 

Location: Remote (LATAM)

 

What you will be doing:
We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Mid Microsoft 365 (M365) System Administrator to architect, govern, and maintain our global M365 environment. This role is responsible for ensuring the security, stability, compliance, and optimal performance of all M365 services, including Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, and Azure Active Directory (Azure AD/Entra ID). The successful candidate will act as a subject matter expert (SME) and lead complex projects, migrations, and security initiatives.
  • Serve as the final authority on M365 configuration and security best practices. 
  • Design and implement governance policies for Teams, SharePoint Online, and OneDrive to ensure efficient usage and data protection.
  • Design, implement, and enforce advanced security policies, including Conditional Access, Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), Data Loss Prevention (DLP), and advanced threat protection across Exchange Online and SharePoint.
  • Develop and maintain complex PowerShell and Graph API scripts to automate bulk user management, reporting, license optimization, and deployment tasks.
  • Provide Tier 2-3 (expert level) support for critical system issues, including complex email flow problems, authentication failures, and performance bottlenecks within SharePoint or Teams.
  • Lead large-scale M365 projects, such as tenant-to-tenant migrations, Exchange hybrid deployments, and the rollout of new services like Microsoft Intune (endpoint management).
  • Evaluate and integrate third-party tools (e.g., security monitoring, backup solutions) to enhance the M365 ecosystem.
Requirements & Qualifications:
To excel in this role, you should possess:
  • Min 5+ years of dedicated experience administering Microsoft 365 in an enterprise environment.
  • Expert command of the Microsoft 365 Admin Center and individual admin portals:
  • Advanced mail flow rules, eDiscovery, message tracing, and retention policies.
  • Site collection governance, external sharing controls, and data lifecycle management for SharePoint Online & OneDrive.
  • Configuration of security policies, voice settings, and external access for Microsoft Teams.
  • Deep, practical experience with administering Conditional Access Policies, Privileged Identity Management (PIM), and single sign-on (SSO) integration.
  • Demonstrated experience implementing and auditing DLP and eDiscovery cases within the Microsoft Purview Compliance portal.
Nice to have:
  • Certification such as Microsoft 365 Certified: Enterprise Administrator Expert (MS-102) or Microsoft 365 Certified: Security Administrator Associate (MS-500).
  • Experience with Microsoft Intune for mobile device management (MDM) and mobile application management (MAM).
  • Familiarity with network protocols, firewall configurations, and proxy settings as they relate to M365 connectivity.
  • Prior experience leading a large-scale tenant migration or acquisition project.
