You will be part of the Legal Technology Squad, contributing to the Legal Technology ecosystem within the Group.
Our teams are responsible for designing, building, deploying, and operating:
- Custom in‑house, web‑based applications hosted on the Amazon Web Services (AWS) platform
- Integrations with external Commercial Off‑The‑Shelf (COTS) applications delivered as Software‑as‑a‑Service (SaaS)

What you’ll do
- Provide technical ownership and expertise across Legal SaaS platforms such as iManage, Diligent Boards, Atticus, Pursuit, and RelativityOne
- Own the full lifecycle of delivery and operational support across Legal Technology products
- Identify and resolve application defects using structured troubleshooting approaches
- Work closely with vendors and internal teams to deliver deployments, enhancements, and ongoing operational support
We’re interested in hearing from people who
- Have experience as a senior full‑cycle software engineer, ideally within legal firms, legal technology providers, or enterprise legal environments
- Bring hands‑on experience working with legal practice systems, such as document management, matter management, eDiscovery, or governance and risk platforms
- Have exposure to Legal Technology platforms, including:
- Cloud iManage and iManage Share
- Diligent Boards
- Atticus
- Pursuit
- RelativityOne
- ServiceNow
- Design, build, and operate production‑grade software systems
- Implement automation frameworks across UI, API, performance, integration, and security testing
- Drive shift‑left practices by embedding unit, integration, and contract testing into CI/CD pipelines
- Collaborate with the team to ensure testability, observability, and resilience by design
- Drive quality strategy within the squad, aligned to engineering and product goals
- Mentor graduates and engineers, fostering a culture of engineering excellence and accountability
- Establish engineering dashboards that provide visibility into delivery quality and production health
- Continuously learn and grow across coding, testing, deployment, and operations
- Take end‑to‑end ownership of features from design → code → testing → deployment → monitoring
Technical skills
We use a broad range of tools, languages, and frameworks. You don’t need experience with everything, but exposure to some of the following will set you up for success:
- Strong programming skills in one or more languages such as C#/.NET, Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, or Python
- Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g. TeamCity, GitHub, Jenkins)
- Good understanding of API testing, microservices, and cloud‑native architectures (preferably AWS)
- Familiarity with observability tools such as Splunk, Observe, or CloudWatch
- Experience with test automation frameworks (e.g. Playwright, DevTest, Appium, Sahi)
- Solid understanding of DevSecOps principles, SDLC best practices, and release governance
- Experience using AI coding assistants (e.g. GitHub Copilot, Roo Code) to accelerate development and testing tasks
