Who we are:

For over 25 years, Global Relay has set the standard in enterprise information archiving with industry-leading cloud archiving, surveillance, eDiscovery, and analytics solutions. We securely capture and preserve the communications data of the world’s most highly regulated firms, giving them greater visibility and control over their information and ensuring compliance with stringent regulations.

Though we offer competitive compensation and benefits and all the other perks one would expect from an established company, we are not your typical technology company. Global Relay is a career-building company. A place for big ideas. New challenges. Groundbreaking innovation. It’s a place where you can genuinely make an impact – and be recognized for it.

We believe great businesses thrive on diversity, inclusion, and the contributions of all employees. To that end, we recruit candidates from different backgrounds and foster a work environment that encourages employees to collaborate and learn from each other, completely free of barriers.

About GRIP:

Global Relay is an innovative business and this extends to its approach in developing highly engaging and informative content services for its prospects, customers, partners and employees. GRIP, which is an acronym for Global Relay Intelligence & Practice, was launched in early 2023, is an independent product and will be a new revenue generator for the parent company soon. GRIP functions with a high degree of editorial autonomy, has its own team and identity, and, being fully supported by Global Relay and its founder, is not held back by the usual foundational obstructions that limit start-ups, such as resource, infrastructure, capital and premises. GRIP delivers a modern and practical streamed content service that focuses on informing the C-suite on essential developments, news, and intelligence to enable them to conduct their roles with speed, confidence and precision. The GRIP founding team has considerable experience in this area and has a strong track-record in meeting its business objectives.

Your role:

You will research, source and create content for publication and/or broadcasting for our specialist information service. This will be done with the full support and direction of senior GRIP editorial team based in the US. You will craft and deliver content that appeals to, informs and stimulates a professional audience. You will be responsible for the expansion of our content coverage with a focus on developments in technology and the companies responsible for these technologies that are based primarily in California. In addition there will be a strong connection to the ecosystem that supports these corporates which comprises private equity, venture capital and the alternative asset management sector. Our focus is always primarily on legal, regulatory and compliance issues - in this respect your coverage will zone in on where these elements intersect especially with emerging technology such as AI or data residency or privacy. Coverage will extend to other finance companies that prevail in the west coast of the US as well as healthcare businesses and their approach to compliance and technology. Because you will be GRIP’s uniquely placed representative on the west coast, and our primary representative in this sector, high levels of professionalism, motivation and the ability to work independently are all critical. You will work out of Global Relay’s new San Francisco office and collaborate directly with a friendly and experienced team based in London, Stockholm and NYC.

You will report to the Head of Regulatory Content – US based in NYC.
