About the Role
The Senior Paralegal – Litigation is an integral part of Latham’s Legal Professional & Paralegal team. This role will be responsible for providing expertise and support to the attorneys in the Litigation & Trial department, while managing all aspects of litigation case preparation, including document review, case file organization, and trial preparation, while supporting multiple complex litigation matters simultaneously and coordinating priorities, deadlines, and case activities with attorneys and case teams. This role will be located in either our San Francisco or Silicon Valley office. Please note that this role may be eligible for a flexible working schedule that allows for a hybrid and in-office presence.
Responsibilities & Qualifications
Other key responsibilities include:
- Serving as a key member of case teams throughout all phases of litigation, from case inception through final resolution
- Coordinating and assisting with discovery, including document collection and review, organizing and maintaining discovery materials, preparing production sets, and tracking productions, in collaboration with supervising attorneys and internal support teams
- Assisting with the preparation and filing of pleadings, motions, exhibits, discovery requests and responses, and other litigation materials
- Coordinating deposition, witness, and client interview preparation, including organizing exhibits, case materials, and supporting documents
- Collaborating with specialized internal resources to coordinate case needs, including eDiscovery, trial technology, and other litigation support services
- Protecting and maintaining any highly sensitive, confidential, privileged, financial, and/or proprietary information that Latham & Watkins retains
We’d love to hear from you if you:
- Exhibit advanced litigation knowledge and experience, with the judgment to anticipate case team needs, navigate complex matters, and serve as a trusted resource to attorneys and colleagues
- Demonstrate exceptional organizational and prioritization skills, with the ability to coordinate complex workstreams, meet demanding deadlines, and deliver consistently accurate, high-quality work in a fast-paced environment
- Possess advanced proficiency with legal technologies and resources, including Microsoft Office and document management systems, with the ability to quickly learn and effectively leverage new tools
And have:
- A bachelor's degree or an equivalent
- A paralegal certificate from an ABA-approved program or signed declaration if located in a California office
- A minimum of six (6) years of relevant experience with a focus on complex litigation cases

Pay Range
USD $150,000.00 - USD $170,000.00 /Yr.
