General Summary:
This position provides advanced paralegal support across various key Legal functions (Litigation, Commercial, Market Access, and Privacy). The role partners closely with attorneys and key internal stakeholders to drive efficient, organized, and compliant legal processes, including eDiscovery/search activities, legal holds, contracting support, and knowledge management.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Litigation, investigation and data subject request support and eDiscovery coordination: Administer and manage legal hold and eDiscovery workflows (including Everlaw or equivalent), coordinate document collection (including those related to fulfilling data subject requests) with legal oversight, support privilege logs and confidentiality designations, and liaise with internal partners (e.g., Digital Technology/IT) as needed. Manage internal case filing repository. Support responses to third-party subpoenas and related document production activities under attorney oversight.
- Investigations and risk support: Support investigations by attending interviews, taking notes, and preparing initial drafts of summaries/memos under attorney direction; provide surge support to risk/ERM processes (e.g., meeting notes, follow-up tracking) during peak periods.

Market Access: Support drafting, review, and administration of market access–related agreements (e.g., trade, distribution, payer). Provide assistance managing contract review workflows, maintaining contract trackers (e.g., rebate terms, pricing obligations, expirations, amendments) and coordinating contracting logistics and documentation.
- Knowledge management and process improvement: Develop, maintain, and optimize playbooks, templates, checklists, and process documentation; support adoption of legal technologies and standard ways of working.
- Vendor and matter administration: Coordinate with legal support vendors (e.g., transcription, trial graphics, eDiscovery providers) and support matter administration, including first-level review of outside counsel invoices in CounselLink (or equivalent) as directed.
- Stakeholder communication and prioritization: Manage multiple workstreams, proactively communicate status/risks.
Scope / Operating Model:
- The role is expected to be primarily aligned to Litigation & Risk (including Privacy) and Commercial & Market Access Legal needs. Based on current stakeholder inputs, the role is anticipated to spend approximately 50% of time on Litigation & Risk support approximately 50% on Commercial / Market Access Legal support (demand to be balanced across workstreams). Senior Director, Market Access Legal with a dotted line to the Senior Director, Litigation. Day-to-day work requested by attorneys and designated stakeholders across supported functions; priorities will be managed in coordination with the manager.
Knowledge and Skills:
- Strong litigation support experience, including legal holds, document collection, organization of case filings, and eDiscovery/search workflows (Everlaw or equivalent preferred).
- Experience with outside counsel and vendor coordination; familiarity with first-level invoice review in CounselLink (or equivalent).
- Contracting process support experience (tracking, coordination of review); ability to work with templates and maintain playbooks/checklists.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision on defined processes; highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to prioritize competing deadlines.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to work effectively across functions and geographies.
- Strong judgement and demonstrated ability to handle confidential and privileged information appropriately.
- Tech Savvy with strong proficiency in common productivity tools (Microsoft 365) and comfort learning new legal technologies.
Education and Experience:
- A Bachelor's degree or Associate's degree. Paralegal certification from an ABA-approved program is a plus.
- Typically requires at least 5+ years of relevant paralegal experience (law firm and/or in-house), or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Demonstrated experience supporting litigation/eDiscovery and managing multiple workstreams with minimal supervision.
- Experience supporting market access activities within a highly regulated pharmaceutical or biotech environment, including coordination across cross-functional business and legal teams.
- Experience partnering with attorneys and cross‑functional stakeholders to capture institutional knowledge, translate legal guidance into usable tools, and support continuous process improvement and knowledge sharing.

Pay Range:
$96,000 - $144,000

The range provided is based on what we believe is a reasonable estimate for the base salary pay range for this job at the time of posting. This role is eligible for an annual bonus and annual equity awards. Some roles may also be eligible for overtime pay, in accordance with federal and state requirements. Actual base salary pay will be based on a number of factors, including skills, competencies, experience, and other job-related factors permitted by law.
