Role Overview

We are seeking a Senior Microsoft 365 Engineer to support the run and maintain operations of a large enterprise Microsoft 365 environment. This role focuses on operational stability, governance-aligned administration, and incident resolution across core Microsoft 365 services within a managed services model.

The ideal candidate brings deep hands-on experience with Microsoft 365, strong operational discipline, and the ability to support complex environments in a 24x7 enterprise setting.

What You’ll Do

  • Administer and support Microsoft 365 services, including:
    • Exchange Online
    • SharePoint Online
    • OneDrive for Business
    • Microsoft Teams (chat, meetings, calling)
    • Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, OneNote)
  • Provide incident triage, troubleshooting, and resolution as part of a 24x7 support model.
  • Monitor tenant health and respond to Microsoft 365 service alerts and outages.
  • Act as a senior escalation point for complex Microsoft 365 issues.
  • Manage Teams and collaboration services in alignment with governance standards (ownership, guest access, quotas).
  • Administer email security and compliance via Exchange Online Protection (EOP).
  • Configure and support Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) and related access controls.
  • Support legal and compliance activities such as Legal Hold and eDiscovery access provisioning.
  • Participate in change management, service requests, audits, and operational reporting.
  • Collaborate with service managers, client stakeholders, and Microsoft support teams.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of incidents, changes, and configurations.

What You Bring

  • 5+ years of enterprise Microsoft 365 administration experience.
  • Strong expertise in Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint Online, and OneDrive.
  • Experience supporting large user environments (thousands of users).
  • Solid understanding of Microsoft 365 security fundamentals (EOP, MFA).
  • Familiarity with ITIL processes (Incident, Problem, Change).
  • Experience working in a managed services or outsourcing environment.
  • Excellent troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work calmly and effectively during high-impact incidents.

Nice to Have

  • Microsoft certifications (e.g., MS‑102, MD-102, MS-700 )
  • Experience in regulated industries (healthcare, public sector, finance)
  • Power BI operational reporting experience
  • Prior experience acting as a Delegated or Global Administrator
