What’s unique about this role?
As the lead Managed Review Recruiting Consultant, you will lead the contract attorney recruiting function during an initial 3-month assessment period. This role sits at the intersection of Talent Acquisition and Managed Review Operations. You will build and scale Lighthouse’s recruiting capacity, identifying, screening, and onboarding high-quality project attorney candidates and will coordinate with Lighthouse Managed Review stakeholders to deploy candidates on Lighthouse Managed Review projects. You will work with Managed Review leadership to develop standardized, data-driven processes that enable rapid, high-quality staffing across a dynamic portfolio of client-driven review projects. You will assess risks, opportunities, and lessons learned during the assessment period and will advise on additional resources and tools recommended to create a sustainable, scalable recruiting engine that delivers consistent talent pipelines, reduces time-to-fill, and enhances reviewer quality and retention across Lighthouse managed review engagements.
What will this person do?
Strategy & Capacity Development
- Develop and execute an initial recruiting strategy for Managed Review contract attorneys, aligned to insourced staffing targets.
- Design and implement initial recruiting workflows, including requisition intake, sourcing, screening, interviewing, onboarding, and redeployment.
- Build standardized playbooks for high-volume hiring across varying project types, including rapid ramp-ups, specialized review needs, and client-specific requirements
Talent Pipeline, Sourcing, Screening, and Selection
- Implement sourcing strategy using job boards, networks, referrals, and direct outreach to build deep pipelines of qualified contract attorneys.
- Develop and maintain segmented talent pools (e.g., prior Lighthouse reviewers, jurisdiction-specific candidates, specialized subject matter experience).
- Leverage market insights and data to adjust sourcing strategies and improve pipeline effectiveness.
- Establish consistent screening and evaluation criteria to ensure alignment with project requirements and client expectations.
- Partner with Managed Review leadership, operations, and Review Managers to refine candidate profiles, required skillsets, and quality benchmarks.
- Ensure high-quality candidate selection through structured screening, interviews, and qualification processes.
- Ensure a high-quality experience for candidates throughout the recruiting and onboarding process, building strong relationships with stakeholders and establishing credibility as a trusted recruiting partner.
Onboarding & Deployment
- Oversee onboarding workflows to ensure efficient, compliant, and seamless onboarding of contract attorneys.
- Partner with Review Managers and review leadership to select reviewers for deployment on projects
- Partner with Managed Review operations to ensure timely deployment and readiness for project start.
- Identify and resolve bottlenecks in onboarding processes, improving speed and candidate experience.
Assessment and Growth Planning
- Partner with Managed Review leadership and operations to assess core recruiting metrics (e.g. time-to-fill, acceptance rates, reviewer quality, redeployment rates) and use this data to identify risks, opportunities, and requirements for growing Lighthouse contract attorney recruiting function to meet staffing needs at scale.
- Advise on additional resourcing and tools needed to develop a sustainable and scalable recruiting engine that delivers consistent talent pipelines, reduces time-to-fill, and enhances reviewer quality and retention across Lighthouse Managed Review engagements.

- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- 7–10+ years of legal recruiting experience, with significant exposure to high-volume or contract attorney recruiting (managed review, eDiscovery, or legal staffing preferred).
- 3+ years of experience leading or mentoring recruiters or recruiting teams.
- Proven experience building or scaling recruiting processes and infrastructure in a fast-paced, high-demand environment.
- Demonstrated ability to operate both strategically and tactically, balancing hands-on execution with process development.
- Excellent relationship management skills, with the ability to partner effectively with operations, legal teams, and senior leadership.
- Strong analytical skills with experience using data to drive recruiting decisions and improvements.
- Strong customer-service orientation and influencing skills.
- Expert knowledge of employment law and working knowledge of current recruitment and talent sourcing practices and strategies, including use of social media and digital marketing.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strategic, creative, and innovative thinking skills, with the ability to exercise sound judgment.
- Excellent organizational and project management skills.
- Ability to work successfully in a team environment as well as independently.
- Experience with Microsoft suite, including Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and Word.
- Experience using Applicant Tracking Systems and recruiting tools required.
Work Environment and Physical Demands
- Duties are performed in a typical office environment while at a desk or computer table.
- Duties require the ability to use a computer, communicate over the telephone, and read printed material, in a quiet and professional setting.
- Duties may require being on call periodically and working outside normal working hours (evenings and weekends).

The salary range for this position may be tailored to be lower or higher in different talent markets.
