Job Description:

Senior Investigator, Internal Investigations, eComm Review Team 

This role requires advanced proficiency in electronic document review to support Internal Investigations on behalf of Fidelity with conducting complex investigations quickly, consistently, and defensibly at every stage, using appropriate and cost-effective review technology.  

Expect a dynamic role with varying tasks and competing deadlines from day to day. You will be required to exercise sound judgment that will greatly affect the outcome of investigation efforts. Due to the criticality of accuracy and methodology, this position carries a high degree of responsibility and accountability.  


In this role, you will: 

  • Support Internal Investigations and other business partners on complex cases. Work closely with team members on diverse issues related to eComm review requests, diplomatically balancing technical feasibility and team resources with case requirements and deadlines.  

 

  • Perform interviews and briefings with stakeholders as needed. 

 

  • Oversee review databases and workflows, including assessing, analyzing, and manipulating electronically stored information (ESI); filtering ESI by complex criteria; organizing logical review workflows.  Provide technical and project support wherever necessary.  

 

  • Administer complex review workflow implementation, detailed data analysis, and early case assessment needs.  

 

  • Coordinate onboarding and training for new team members. 

 

  • Assist with maintaining the review tool userbase, ensuring users receive necessary platform training and have appropriate permissions in place. Facilitate new user training as needed. Monitor and track service utilization and reviewer performance metrics. 

 

  • Monitor matter/project status, ensuring milestones are met and work is completed timely and accurately. Provide regular status updates to team leadership. 

 

  • Proactively drive continuous improvement across the eComm Review Team function.  

 

  • Proactively seek out training to stay current with discovery techniques, technology, expectations, and continually evolving “best practice” guidelines in the industry and among the team; assist with ensuring that all departmental workflows align with industry standards.  

 

  • Assist and support Internal Investigations with critical project work as needed.  

 

Education and Experience:  


  • 8 plus years experience in eDiscovery, Litigation Support, Investigations, or related work 
  • Extensive knowledge of EDRM and eDiscovery function and processes  
  • Extensive experience with Everlaw required, certification preferred  

 

Skills and Knowledge:  


  • Advanced proficiency in best practices for collection and review of electronic data, including advanced analytics and machine learning.  
  • Mastery with various electronic communication and document formats, data types, and database management, workflow software, and complex discovery tools.  
  • Demonstrated aptitude for independent learning in both a technically and logically demanding environment.  
  • Demonstrated experience to learn new and complex applications/technologies, and a desire to experiment and explore the potential of such applications.  
  • Aptitude for problem solving.  
  • Independent, accountable, and skilled in exercising sound judgment.  
  • Excellent organizational and analytical skills, prioritizing accuracy and attention to detail.  
  • Excellent recordkeeping abilities.  
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills are mandatory.  
  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to work under pressure are required.  
  • Solid understanding of technical concepts relating to corporate computing environments.  

Fidelity’s Onsite Working Model
Fidelity is transitioning to a full-time onsite working model through a phased rollout across regions and roles. Currently, some roles and locations require 100% onsite presence, while others require less. Onsite expectations are likely to evolve as the rollout continues. This transition does not apply to fully remote roles.

The base salary range for this position is $79,000-153,000 USD per year.  

Placement in the range will vary based on job responsibilities and scope, geographic location, candidate’s relevant experience, and other factors.

Base salary is only part of the total compensation package. Depending on the position and eligibility requirements, the offer package may also include bonus or other variable compensation.
