Role: Client Manager, Individual Contributor with Client & Delivery Ownership

About the Role:

The Client Manager supports the delivery of eDiscovery and legal managed services engagements by assisting LCA Clients, senior Client Services leaders and coordinating with global delivery teams. This role requires managing multiple projects simultaneously, each with varying levels of complexity. This role is responsible for the day-to-day execution of assigned matters, ensuring client requirements are clearly understood, communicated, and delivered in line with Conduent standards.

The Client Manager plays a key role in planning, analysis, execution, and closure of projects, providing proactive oversight to ensure quality, timeliness, and client satisfaction in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Key Roles & Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary engagement lead for assigned eDiscovery matters, acting as a trusted advisor to clients, attorneys, and senior internal stakeholders
  • Own end-to-end delivery of complex, high-risk, or high-value eDiscovery engagements from intake through review, production, and close-out
  • Sets up project kick-off meetings and conducts platform training for clients
  • Lead project planning, execution, and governance, ensuring alignment with client objectives, contractual requirements, and Conduent standards
  • Translate complex legal and technical requirements into executable delivery strategies and work with global delivery teams to ensure consistent, high-quality outcomes
  • Design, configure, and oversee Relativity and Viewpoint environments, including advanced workspace architecture, security models, analytics, and reporting
  • Lead execution of complex searches, analytics workflows, and search term validation, providing defensible recommendations to clients
  • Support and work on data release and productions, ensuring accuracy, defensibility, and compliance with client and court requirements
  • Act as escalation point for Juniors, platform, data, and workflow issues, driving resolution across technical, infrastructure, and engineering teams
  • Ensure rigorous quality control, risk mitigation, and defensibility across all phases of the engagement
  • Provide expert guidance on privilege strategy, privilege log generation, redactions, and matter-specific workflows
  • Own client communications for status, risks, scope changes, and delivery commitments
  • Manage project scope, effort, and budgets. Identify variances and secure approvals for changes in scope or cost
  • Ensure continuity of service across shifts and matters through strong governance, documentation, and handoff standards
  • Drive client satisfaction, retention, and expansion through consistent delivery excellence and proactive engagement
  • Lead or contribute to process improvement initiatives, best-practice development, and standardization across the Client Services organization
  • Maintain accurate time tracking and comply with security, confidentiality, and quality standards

Qualifications / Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree with required professional experience

  • Minimum 6 - 9 years of experience in eDiscovery, legal services, or managed legal services environments

  • eDiscovery certifications (e.g., Relativity Certified Administrator - RCA or equivalent) preferred

  • Deep hands-on expertise with Relativity and/or Viewpoint review platforms

  • Advanced understanding of the eDiscovery lifecycle, including complex data intake scenarios, analytics-driven review workflows, productions, and close-out activities

  • Proven experience designing and managing complex workspaces, executing advanced searches and analytics, and overseeing large-scale productions

  • Strong command of legal review concepts including privilege strategy, redactions, search term validation, and defensibility standards

  • Demonstrated ability to lead complex matters independently and serve as a senior client-facing delivery lead

  • Proven experience managing scope, budgets, and delivery risk across multiple concurrent matters

  • Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and decision-making capabilities

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with confidence interacting with senior client stakeholders and law firms

  • Experience leading or mentoring team members in a global delivery and 24Γ—7 operational environment

  • Strong sense of ownership, accountability, and commitment to client success

  • In-depth understanding of data security, confidentiality obligations, and regulatory requirements
