Who are we looking for?  

We are seeking a Senior Active Directory & Exchange Consultant for our Security Consulting team to support in implementing key security recommendations, driving operational improvements, and contributing to day-to-day activities. The ideal candidate will possess deep technical expertise in identity and messaging infrastructure, with a strong grasp of security and compliance standards. This role is suited for professionals who excel in client-facing settings and enjoy diverse enterprise implementations. You'll translate security requirements into scalable solutions, uphold Bridewell's standards of excellence, and stay updated on Microsoft's evolving security ecosystem to guide clients effectively. 
 
Key Responsibilities:  

You will be responsible for the management, operation, security, and compliance of identity and directory services, as well as Exchange. Key areas of responsibility include, but are not limited to: 

  • Administration of Windows Domain Controllers and Microsoft Active Directory across multiple domains.  
  • Management of Exchange 2019, Office 365, and related services such as Proofpoint, Enterprise Vault, and eDiscovery.  
  • Support for server lifecycle management, including decommissioning and hybrid configurations.  
  • Execution of account provisioning and access control tasks, including integration with SailPoint and Workday.  
  • Participation in IT operations meetings and collaboration with internal teams and external vendors.  
  • Implement and support security recommendations related to AD and Exchange.  
  • Perform patching, vulnerability remediation, and compliance reporting.  
  • Assist with DMARC/DKIM/SPF alignment and CoreView configuration.  
  • Support backup and recovery strategies for Entra Tenant and Exchange environments.  
  • Respond to ServiceNow tickets and document technical decisions.  

Qualifications and Experience:  

  • Proven experience with Active Directory and Exchange administration in enterprise environments.  
  • Strong understanding of identity lifecycle management and security frameworks.  
  • Familiarity with hybrid Exchange environments and Office 365 services.  
  • Experience with compliance tools and standards (e.g. CoreView, Proofpoint).  
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills.  
  • Experience with SailPoint (or any other Identity Governance and Administration solution) and Microsoft Entra.  
  • Prior work with public sector or large-scale IT operations.

Location: This is a hybrid role with flexibility to work remotely. On-site presence required in Los Angeles, CA, 3 days per week (Tuesday–Thursday). Travel frequency will vary depending on client needs and project phases, with some engagements requiring regular on-site presence while others may be delivered remotely.
