Codes & Standards Support
Manage day-to-day support requests including:
- Purchase of codes/standards to enterprise-wide subscription, or purchase of single-license codes & standards including:
- Communications with suppliers (existing and new):
- Requesting and receiving pricing
- Licensing/copyright questions
- Follow-ups with suppliers as required
- Forwarding pricing to internal approvers, and receiving approvals/rejections
- Follow-ups with internal approvers as required
- Approving /purchasing orders from suppliers
- Receiving, forwarding, coding supplier invoices, and confirming payment
- Communication with requestor throughout purchasing process
- Online searches for standards not available through our subscription services
- Troubleshooting codes & standards subscription issues submitted by staff including:
- Regular communication with requestor
- Communication with subscription providers
- Online searching for solutions
- Managing subscription price estimates for yearly budgeting including:
- Running /requesting and editing usage reports
- Requesting / receiving staff lists from STN HR
- Requesting / receiving renewal proposals / quotes from subscription providers
- Compiling BOU/FST/Region allocations
- Communication with BOU/FST/Region contacts:
- Sending allocation spreadsheets
- Managing subscription contract renewals including:
- Running /requesting and editing usage reports
- Requesting / receiving staff lists from STN HR
- Requesting / receiving renewal proposals / quotes from subscription providers
- Compiling BOU/FST/Region allocations
- Communication with BOU/FST/Region contacts:
- Sending allocation spreadsheets
- Receiving codes for ERs
- Follow-ups for ER codes
- Answering allocation questions
- Creating, sending, and receiving (signed) ERs
