About the team: (TE)

About the role:

Provide subject matter expertise to all Diageo business units to ensure cost effective and compliant management of information in accordance with records management best practices.

Role Responsibilities:

Dimensions:

b) Market Complexity Global role

• Supports the IM&S Information Management function for Diageo markets

c) Leadership Responsibilities No direct reports but must build strong relationships with partners and stakeholders internally and externally. Must be able to work effectively both as a team member and independently without direct supervision

Top 3-5 Accountabilities

• Support the development and maintenance of retention schedules / information asset inventories across Diageo markets and digitization of these schedules onto IAI WorkSpace

• Support markets in running their annual ‘File/Archive/Bin’ (FAB) exercises.

• Support organization legal hold strategy, in conjunction with legal team

• Support development and implementation of retention & disposal policies and guidance to clarify what must be retained and for how long and what can be deleted and when on a market and functional basis.

• Information Protection and Data Loss Prevention products and strategies

Experience / skills required:

• Good understanding of information life cycle management.

• Good understanding of data retention requirements.

• Asset management tool experience

• Ticketing tool experience (e.g Service Now)

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 & related products like Excel, word, PowerPoint etc.

• Knowledge and understanding of Microsoft Purview, DLP, Insider Risk Management, eDiscovery

• Training experience – ability to deliver training sessions on records management

• Relevant professional certifications including some of the following; Certified Records Manager (ICRM), IG Professional (ARMA), Certified Information Privacy Professional (IAPP), Certified eDiscovery Specialist (ACEDS), Certified Information Professional (AIIM) – or a willingness to work towards these certifications

• Good communication and interpersonal skills combined with the ability to work with many different people

• Ability to anticipate changing demands for use of information

• Commitment to professional development

• Curiosity and an eye for detail

• Working knowledge of current legislation regarding data protection (e.g. GDPR)
