Participate in customer concern review requests from Customer Engagement, Service, Quality, and other business teams.
Be the liaison between in-house case managers and retained experts and outside counsel with respect to document and information needs in preparation for depositions and mediations.
Manage the storage and distribution of company's vehicles allocated to the Product Integrity & Defense team.
Analyze legal documents like pleadings, briefs, and other legal filings and gather responsive information, as directed.
Be the point of contact between outside counsel, hired consultants, internal engineering groups, and case manager attorneys investigating and defending matters that involve products..
Responsible for overseeing the litigation management system which includes fielding incoming legal complaints and claims and entering the information into the system as well as keeping it up to date.
Manage all incoming case documents and keep the Product Defense files organized and up to date.
Other miscellaneous administrative tasks, like processing settlement checks, as assigned.
Requirements
Qualifications:
ABA paralegal certification or relevant bachelorβs degree.
6+ years of experience working as a paralegal in a law firm, government, or in-house legal setting.
Experience working cross-functionally with various business teams, engineering disciplines, and legal personnel.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment.
Motivated by a team-oriented environment and working collaboratively with cross-functional stakeholders.
Solid experience with legal technology, including Microsoft eDiscovery, Purview, and other platforms.
