As a Principal Project Manager, you will be a key driver of highly cross-functional, strategic, and change-oriented projects across Everlaw. You will take the lead on key go-to-market (GTM) initiatives, driving them from conception through to execution, and will be responsible for tracking progress and communicating the data-driven return on investment (ROI). This role is perfect for a seasoned project and/or program manager with a strong background in strategic, operational, and technical projects who can manage complex, multi-faceted initiatives with minimal supervision and act as a key leader within the Strategy & Operations team supporting GTM, which includes Sales, Post Sales, and Marketing.

This critical role is dedicated to supporting the entire CRO organization, including our Sales and Post Sales/CX functions. As a key individual contributor, you will play a central role in optimizing our go-to-market motions and ensuring that strategic projects are executed smoothly and effectively, directly impacting the success of the company's revenue-generating teams.

This is a full-time, exempt position based in our Oakland, CA office with a hybrid work schedule: in office M/W/Th with the option to work from home on Tu/Fr.

Getting started at Everlaw

  • We’re excited for you to learn, grow, and contribute right away! We trust that you’ll bring experience and knowledge that will uplift and uplevel the team, but we don’t expect you to know everything on Day 1.

In your role, you'll...

  • Establish and continuously refine a GTM project management playbook, defining best practices for intake, prioritization, and strategic planning while ensuring all projects tie directly to business objectives and deliver measurable outcomes.
  • Lead complex projects from ideation through planning and implementation with minimal supervision, across strategic, operational, and technical initiatives for GTM and our business.
  • Manage a balanced portfolio of long-term initiatives (e.g., ongoing fiscal year planning processes) and high-impact, ad hoc strategic projects that drive significant improvements across the entire customer lifecycle.
  • Plan projects in line with project management best practices, defining scope, gathering requirements, setting milestones, and creating comprehensive project plans.
  • Execute projects by managing day-to-day activities, tracking progress, updating documentation, and proactively identifying and addressing risks.
  • Keep stakeholders engaged and informed by providing timely updates and facilitating data-driven decision-making.
  • Develop functional partnerships to maximize results, influencing and leading cross-functional teams to achieve project objectives.
  • Manage multiple responsibilities and ambiguity with the agility to shift tasks or roles when necessary, working as a leader, as a team player, and independently.
  • Build trust and partnerships to maximize results. Influence, lead, and inspire cross-functional teams in pursuit of project objectives.
  • Accelerate decision making and drive alignment across GTM.
  • Help drive continuous improvement of company-wide systems, processes, and procedures.
  • Evolve our project management documentation and standards.
  • Work hands-on wherever needed to ensure project success.

  • Proven track record of building and scaling a project management function that has directly impacted business outcomes.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence, build trust, and collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders, across all levels of the organization, from GTM teams to leadership.

  • Exceptional organizational and problem-solving skills, with a high level of attention to detail and a strong ability to manage multiple responsibilities in an ambiguous, fast-paced environment.
  • Self-starter with a strong sense of ownership and the agility to shift tasks or roles when necessary, working both independently and as a team player. You embrace change and technology to drive continuous improvement and growth.
