  • Assist with trial preparation, including exhibit management, witness files, deposition summaries, and trial binders.
  • Maintain and organize electronic and physical case files in firm document management systems.
  • Work with litigation support teams and vendors on Relativity databases, document hosting, archiving, and cost management.

  • Accurately record time and meet billable and administrative expectations.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Qualifications

  • Strong knowledge of the litigation process, including discovery, document management, and trial support.
  • Experience working with document review and e-discovery platforms (Relativity experience strongly preferred).
  • Familiarity with local, state, and federal court filing systems (including PACER/CM-ECF).
  • Ability to manage large volumes of documents, including medical records, financial records, and trial exhibits.
  • High level of organization, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple matters simultaneously.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including comfort interacting with attorneys, clients, and court personnel.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office; experience with iManage and secure file-sharing platforms preferred.
  • Ability to work independently, exercise sound judgment, and adapt quickly to changing priorities.
  • Minimum of 5 years of litigation paralegal experience required, preferably in a mid- to large-sized law firm.
  • Experience supporting trial teams through verdict, including exhibit management, witness preparation, and courtroom logistics, is strongly preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree, paralegal certificate, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and relevant litigation experience preferred; significant litigation paralegal experience may be considered in lieu of formal educational credentials.

Preferred Attributes

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Problem-solving mindset with critical thinking skills.
  • Self-starter with strong initiative and ability to manage tasks without constant supervision.
  • Ability to effectively prioritize competing deadlines and manage assignments from multiple attorneys in a fast-paced environment.
