Modivcare is looking for an experienced Paralegal III to join our team. In this role, you will support the Legal department in managing pre-litigation claims, subpoenas, attorney correspondence, and various administrative legal matters. This position requires exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, confidential environment.
Assists the Legal Leadership team by tracking trends in legal cases and subpoenas.
Provides litigation support, including maintaining legal files, routing complaints, and drafting responses to interrogatories and document requests.
Manages subpoena and records request workflows to inform team decision-making and performance metrics.
Assists in the implementation and use of legal hold software.
Responds to attorney inquiries related to claims and maintains a detailed tracking system.
Provides general legal support for internal and external legal matters.
Manages attorney calendars, schedules meetings, and organizes files in a fast-paced environment.
Drafts legal documents and correspondence under attorney supervision.
Assists in legal department initiatives and projects to support tracking, process improvement, and efficiency.
Supports eDiscovery activities, ensuring compliance, accuracy, and confidentiality.
Follows standardized internal legal service processes and protocols.
Interfaces with insurance carriers on matters involving coverage questions.
Gathers case-relevant information from internal clients, witnesses, and opposing counsel.
Participates in other projects or duties as assigned.
High School Diploma required.
Two (2) plus years of experience in a legal department, group setting, or law firm.
Experience in civil litigation is a plus.
Detail-oriented, organized, proactive, and resourceful with strong follow-through skills.
Strong analytical, research, and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and workloads in a deadline-driven environment.
High level of professionalism and discretion in handling sensitive and confidential information.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills and interpersonal abilities.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively with a positive, solutions-focused mindset.

Intermediate proficiency in Google Suite (Gmail, Drive, Docs, Sheets, Notes).
Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio), Adobe Acrobat, and Smartsheet.
Ability to learn and utilize proprietary systems and legal databases.
Salary: $24.88 - $33.59/hr
