ENERGY & ENVIRONMENT BUREAU ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION DIVISION

The Attorney General is looking for a highly motivated individual to serve as a Paralegal in the Environmental Protection Division (EPD) of the Energy & Environment Bureau. EPD brings civil cases to enforce environmental laws, pursues other affirmative litigation and advocacy to promote environmental protection, and defends the Commonwealth in certain environmental litigation.
Primary Duties: The qualified candidate will assist attorneys in the Environmental Protection Division in handling high-profile, impact climate litigation and legal projects. The Paralegal will be in frequent contact with litigation attorneys, handle critical and confidential materials, and help ensure the highest level of professionalism in EPD. This is a fast-paced, high-profile work environment that requires the ability to work on a range of complex matters, often under time pressure.

Position Type: Full-Time/Non-Exempt
Our current hybrid model includes some remote workdays for most positions. On in-office days, employees are required to report to one of our designated office locations, either in Boston or at a regional office.
Salary: $55,375
