Singleton Schreiber, LLP is seeking an experienced, motivated, and detail-oriented paralegal to support the Personal Injury team. This fast-paced role supports attorneys in state and federal litigation and requires close collaboration with other paralegals and case assistants. This role may include regular communication with Spanish-speaking clients; bilingual (Spanish/English) skills strongly preferred.
This will be a hybrid position, based in our San Diego, CA office.
Salary: $30.00-$40.00 per hour
Actual salaries will vary and will be based on various factors, such as location, skills, experience, and qualification for the role.
Key Responsibilities
The Big PictureSupport Personal Injury litigation from pre-litigation through post-trial by managing case files, coordinating filings, maintaining deadlines, and assisting attorneys with discovery and trial preparation.
Specific Tasks
Communicate regularly with clients
Review and organize client documents
Prepare and manage court filings and discovery
Manage electronic documents including Bates stamping and document review
Create privilege logs and trial exhibits
Update client data in case management systems
Draft legal documents, correspondence, and pleadings
Manage deadlines using electronic calendaring systems
Coordinate CM/ECF and PACER filings and service of process
Qualifications
Paralegal certificate or qualification under Bus. & Prof. Code § 6450
3+ years of personal injury litigation paralegal experience required
5+ years of paralegal experience preferred
Bilingual (Spanish/English) strongly preferred
Experience with case management software
Proficiency in Adobe, Microsoft Office, Excel, and Outlook
Familiarity with eDiscovery platforms such as ShareFile, PACER, Everlaw, FileVine, Smart Advocate
Strong organizational, communication, and multitasking skills
